Calvin Klein has a history of pushing the boundaries of accepted sexiness in the advertising world, but ever since Eva Mendes signed on as the face (or make that T&A) of Calvin Klein, those boundaries have been completely left in the dust. Her over-the-top erotic commercial for the designer's Secret Obsession fragrance even got banned from television for being too raunchy.

Now a huge billboard of the sexy Latina in her skivvies playfully tugging at the underwear of an oiled-up male model adorns a street corner in Soho and has some local residents worrying about the effect such a steamy image will have on the children.

The underwear ad shows a sweaty Eva Mendes in sheer lingerie tugging at a muscled man's boxer briefs. The billboard -- located at Houston and Lafayette streets -- is just one of a handful of sultry displays.

It has drawn mixed reactions from folks who live and work in the area. Others are concerned about exposure to children. "As much as I love advertising, it's gonna cause an accident. It's just right over the top," said Manhattan resident, Carols Manuel.
