Lawerence

Hunger Games hottie Jennifer Lawrence hosted Saturday Night Live this weekend, and treated us to a spot-on parody of '70s soft-core in a spoof called “Danielle: A Free European Woman”.

Some of the studio audience may have been to young to remember the glorious soft-core titles of yesteryear, so lets take a walk down mammary lane with the creamiest of retro crop.

FelecityThe font used for SNL's "Danielle" comes straight from the Australian softcore classic Felicity (1979), which stars Glory Annen as a curious teenager raring to explores all avenues of her budding sexuality. Only few movies do it all as well as this one.

KristelThe best-known offering is the incomparable Emmanuelle (1974) starring Sylvia Kristel as a bored housewife who gets a sexual awakening (and how!) in Bangkok. Sylvia got nude again for the very successful sequels Emmanuelle 2 (1975), Good-bye, Emmanuelle (1977), and Emmanuelle IV (1984).

SenatoreAffair (1974) follows a novelist Marc and his beautiful wife, played by Paola Senatore as they rediscover romance. Paola also finds her own sexual awakening between the thighs of Lucretia Love.

BardotBrigitte Bardot was cast as the female reincarnate of the libidinous hero in Ms. Don Juan (1973), and after seducing every man she can, she beds down petite waif Jane Birkin. Ooh la la!

CoeurBacchanales Sexuelles (1974) revolves around Joëlle Coeur house-sitting for her cousin, who is eventually revealed to be a member of a secret sex club. Really the title Bacchanales Sexuelles says it all.

LindbergAnita: Diary of a Nymphomaniac (1973) cast Christina Lindberg as a teen Lolita who just can’t get enough of the ol’ in out, and notably goes tete-a-tete with her school counselor Berit Agedahl.

KoppelQuiet Days in Clichy (1970) follows horny Americans “Joey” and “Carl” on their quest to get laid in Europe, and thanks to sexually liberated and seriously sexy ladies like Louise White, Ulla Koppel, Susanne Krage, and Lisbet Lundquist, they get very lucky indeed!

ZachariasNéa (1976), AKA: Nea: A New Woman features Ann Zacharias naked in five scintillating scenes including an inexplicable bush bonanza when she scratches up her legs, rubs some transparent goo into her hairy thatch, plays with some flowers, and then screams. Ah ‘70s Skinema!

The good ole days when movies actually contained artistic content.
