For Dusty, Washington Will Get Lusty

We've been hearing rumors lately that Nicole Kidman might star as legendary bisexual soul singer Dusty Springfield in a big-screen biopic. But we're hoping that Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth gets her way and lands the role. No, it's not her impressive vocal abilities that have us excited. Kristin wants to cast Kerry Washington as her lesbian lover. And Washington couldn't be more eager to get intimate with Chenoweth onscreen!

Chenoweth told E! back in April that she wanted Washington to portray her lesbo love if she were to land the Springfield role. They report on Kerry's reaction:

After reading our original interview with Chenoweth, Washington ran into her at an L.A. eatery. "I was like, 'I would love to be your lesbian lover!'" Washington says from New York City, where she's starring on Broadway in playwright David Mamet's Race. "It's very exciting. I feeling like I've been waiting to make out with her forever."

We just heard about the possible coupling this morning, and it already feels like we've been waiting forever for Kerry to make out with Kristin!
