If you thought fingernails on a chalkboard was annoying, how about fingernails on hard wood?
The thought sends shivers up our spines here at Skin Central, but we're not here to judge. And thanks to the magic of Google, we've found a few people who will find this pronouncement from pop star/fashion type Lady Gaga enticing.
Gaga has a column in the fashion rag V Magazine, and in her most recent "Gaga Memo" she stands up for the well-manicured hand, giving the following reasons why long nails are a virtue:
1. Having a perfect manicure instantly makes you feel beautiful and clean.
2. You’ll be ready for sex or to put a penis in your hand.
3. It’s a way for you to express yourself (be careful how you do that).
4. It forces you to see the importance of making time for yourself.
5. It boosts your self esteem everyday [sic].
6. It projects an image of success, which is good for biz.
