Welcome to a sad week in skinema, since none of the wide releases contain nudity. Bruce Willis returns for the franchise's fifth installment in A Good Day to Die Hard (2013), but the only thing to get you hard is Yulia Snigir's bra under in a tight leather outfit. Plus, the Nicholas Sparks romance The Notebook (2004) brought us Rachel McAdams' apples, but that’s not the case with his latest adaption Safe Haven (2013) where Julianne Hough keeps clothed.

Die Hard

Will John McClane ever retire? Not as long as it's A Good Day to Die Hard (2013). Bruce Willis returns for the fifth installment in the iconic action franchise, this time co-starring Jai Courtney as McClane's seemingly errant son Jack. But when John travels to Russia to give some tough love to his offspring, he discovers that Jack is actually a CIA operative knee-deep in a mission to prevent a nuclear weapons heist. Sounds like a perfect opportunity for some father-son bonding...although Mr. Skin would prefer it if they just went to the strip club together, since aside from some sexy stockings and a tight leather outfit from Yulia Snigir, this flick is bereft of skin. It may be a Good Day to Die Hard, but it's not a Good Day to Get Hard.

The love of a good man turns out to be just what a troubled young woman needs in the Nicholas Sparks romance Safe Haven (2013). Hot hoofer Julianne Hough stars as Katie, an enigmatic drifter type who lands in the town of Southport, North Carolina. Soon after her arrival Katie meets Alex (Josh Duhamel), a young widower who encourages her to confront the dark secret she's been running from all this time. But Julianne must have been too busy baring her soul to do the same with her body, because aside from some nice cleavage shots and a bikini scene at the 37-minute mark, she doesn't give us much to work with here. So if you're looking for skin, Safe Haven will leave you feeling lost at sea.
