The superheropalooza Iron Man 3 is bursting into big-budget release this week, but Gwyneth Paltrow shows no skineth in this PG-13 mega movie. Fortunately a quartet of limited releases are bringing enough nudity to turn your man to iron!
First up, Australian actress Adelaide Clemens is displaying her tiny-nipped tips as a party girl in Generation Um... (2012), and trio of skinternational sirens are showing skin in Something in the Air (2012). Then a whole parade of porn stars are probing their private lives in Aroused (2013), and exotic eyeful Roxane Mesquida leads vampire vixens stripping down in the horror flick Kiss of the Damned (2013).
Two hot young New Yorkers (and Keanu Reeves) search for meaning amid a whirlwind of sex, drugs and uncertainty in Generation Um... (2012). Reeves stars as John, a New York slacker whose lack of ambition and indifference towards life is expressed in his lack of facial expressions and vocal emoting. Or maybe that's just Keanu? Anyway, John does have a couple good things going for him: his sexy, frequently panty-clad gal pals Mia (Adelaide Clemens) and Violet (Bojana Novakovic),who pass another aimless day by crawling around on the floor in thong underwear, inspecting their supple breasts in the mirror, filming themselves in the shower and hooking up with random dudes. Director Oliver Assayas recalls the heady days after the May '68 protests in the semi-autobiographical Something in the Air (2012). Gilles (Clment Mtayer) is a 17-year-old high school student, activist and aspiring filmmaker who flees France for Italy with his girlfriend Christine (Lola Creton) after a security guard is seriously injured during a protest in which they were participating. On the road with a myopic group of would-be revolutionaries, Gilles sees for the first time the flaws in his revolutionary beliefs. 12 minutes in, Carole Combes kicks off the free-love get by going topless in bed with a guy, and Lola follows with a solo skin scene 41 minutes in and a delightful duo of dairies with India Salvor Menuez at the 51-minute mark. A vampire's meddling sister puts their entire existence at risk in Kiss of the Damned (2012). After a tortured courtship, female vampire Djuna (Josphine de La Baume) finally succumbs to her passion and takes mortal screenwriter Paolo (Milo Ventimiglia) as her lover. But it's not (literally) happy ever after for the couple, because no sooner have the two settled into domestic bliss than Djuna's psychotic, sexually predatory sister Mimi (Roxane Mesquida) arrives with designs on stealing her sister's man. Moody and atmospheric, Kiss of the Damned will appeal to fans of The Hunger, not least because of the frequent glimpses at Josphine's spectacular set. Roxane fans should fast-forward to the 51-minute mark for a threesome between her, Alexia Landeau, and the world's luckiest actor, and the 1-hour, 10-minute mark, where she saddles up for a mustache ride in the shower.
