Top 10 Full-Figured Foxes Who Have Gone Nude
When we heard that petite-teated newcomer Rooney Mara was cast as the lead in the much-skinticipated The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, we were cautiously optimistic. After all, Noomi Rapace dropped her duds and went lustily lesbo for the Swedish original.
According to some new skinfo, the American remake does feature nudity--and plenty of it--in the script. So much so that big-bombed Scarlett Johansson was scared titless. NYDN reports:
Johansson will be disappointed she lost the plum part. She wanted the role "bad," as we reported Monday, even though our source says, "Scarlett was freaked out by the nude scenes" in the script.
The source adds, however, that [director David] Fincher "was willing to work around that if she got the part."
Unwillingness to get naked is always a problem, but the main reason Scarjo didn't win the part of Lisbeth? Her hoots were too huge!
As one avid reader points out, Lisbeth is "skinny" and "flat as a board" in "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," but gets breast augmentation in the second novel. Johansson would have needed cutting-edge visual effects, or at least a whole lot of gaffer's tape.
The svelte Mara doesn't appear to have the same impediments.
Although we mourn what could have been, look at it this way: had Scarjo taken the role, it sounds as if the nudes would be cut. Modest-mammed Mara, on the other gland, has something to prove.
