We've seen a lot of actresses play strippers in the past few years. Jessica Biel. Heather Graham. Marisa Tomei. Jessica Alba. And it's likely we'll see a lot more in the years to come. But when we think of which starlets are likely to don G-strings and pasties (or hopefully less) to grease the pole, names like Blake Lively, Mila Kunis, or Megan Fox come to mind. The prospect of 60-year-old Avatar star Sigourney Weaver taking to a strip club stage came completely out of left field and punched us squarely in the gut.
Sigourney revealed:
There's a project which sees me as an ageing stripper. But I can't say a lot about that one. It's going to be a surprise! I'm also playing the leading role in a film by Nicolas Roeg.
I feel sexier than ever. I used to be really insecure. I hope I'll live up to a 100 years. I never wanted to be like James Dean - die young and be famous afterwards.
Our instincts tell us that there's little chance we'll actually see Sigourney Weaver nude playing a stripper, but then again, we weren't expecting Marisa Tomei's incredible stripping scenes in The Wrestler either.
The Nicolas Roeg project in called Night Train and finds Weaver playing a cop. A staggering 13 of Roeg's 18 feature films include nudity, and he's responsible for classics such as Julie Christie's outstanding sex scene with Donald Sutherland in Don't Look Now and Mimi Rogers's huge, malleable boobs getting an incredible rub down in Full Body Massage. With a track record like that, chances are good that Roeg will deliver Sigourney Weaver's first nude scene in a decade.

I give her extra points for still maintaining her glow at that age. If she's still willing to bare her body at SIXTY, then she truly needs to be some kind of spokeswoman to encourage younger, stingier actresses to go naked.
