It's been a while since we had TWO movies nude in theaters to tell you about! Hollywood is hoping to capitalize on the Friday the 13th "holiday" by releasing two scary movies: The Cabin in the Woods, opening in wide release, and Detention, opening in select cities.

Both movies put their own unique twists on the slasher movies of their directors' youth, while still remaining true to the genre's most titillating convention with nude scenes from Anna Hutchison (above) in Cabin and Brooke Haven and Shanley Caswell('s body double) in Detention. As The Cabin in the Woods director Drew Goddard told New York Magazine's Vulture blog:

"[Nudity is] crucial to that part of the genre, and we felt we had to honor the genre."

Getting naked on film: it's the respectful thing to do.

The Sundance Film Festival's midnight movies have quite a reputation, what with (sk)incidents of festival-goers passing out, freaking out, throwing up, and being carried away by EMTs during screenings every single year.

It's probably just clueless filmgoers woozy from the high altitude, as Devin Faraci points out in a recent Badass Digest article, but as the filmmakers behind The Killer Inside Me (2010) and The Woman (2011) (both of which had contentious Sundance screenings) will tell you, there's no such thing as bad publicity when your goal is to shock.

Ever since Jenna Jameson became a household name in the mid- 2000's, porn stars have been scrambling to supplement their porn suck-cess with mainstream success. Fright flicks are a fun and easy way for a porn star to get her name out into the wider world, and recently we've seen a deluge of porn professionals like Tori Black, Alexis Texas and Sasha Grey trying their hands at horror.

But porn and horror have been kissing cousins since before Jenna hit puberty, back when "Ivory Soap Girl" turned notorious porno star Marilyn Chambers starred as a diseased dame with a vagina in her armpit (no, really, that's what it's about) in Rabid (1977).

October is just around the corner, and with it comes creeping the annual avalanche of horror flicks that are rushed into theaters in time for Halloween.

Horror films have always featured copious nudity, but a lot has changed since the days of Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama (1988). Case in point: The Human Centipede 2, whose director Tom Six says in a new interview with The New York Times:

"I see porno films, of course, and I like them, I have no problem with that at all. And there have been so many horror films, and that’s all torture and misery. That’s the genre. I kind of like that they combine it. I think my film is a torture porn with European art sauce or something."

After an enthusiastic premiere at Fantastic Fest in Austin last night, IFC Films has acquired the movie for distribution in the US (the British Film Classification Board refused to give it a rating, essentially banning it in the UK) and is rushing it into theaters on October 7. Six promises that Human Centipede 2 will show everything that the surprisingly restrained The Human Centipede (2009) merely implied. The original did contain nudity from Ashley C. Williams and Ashlynn Yennie, and if you look closely at the official poster, you'll see that spinal cord is made out of shapely seat meat. We don't have a confirmed nudity report for this flick yet, but this is one of those movies that either you really want to see or you really, really don't. So if you do, you're probably in for a nude night at the movies-if you can keep your lunch down, anyway....

When it comes to nudes at the box office this weekend, don't bother- the Green Lantern can make anything he imagines appear with his power ring, and the best he could do is a shot of Blake Lively in a tight, cleavage-revealing dress in the last 5 minutes of the film. Do you like scary movies?

Sure, but Mr. Skin prefers bare-y movies. Scream 4 is burning up the box office, and although the series is light on nudes, it features plenty of actresses who have skintastic carnal careers. Courteney Cox, Neve Campbell, and Drew Barrymore are just a few of the Scream stars who have stripped. Let's count down the top ten--it's a bloody good time!

Boobalicious blonde Barbara Crampton, star of 80's horror flicks great (Re-Animator, 1985) and not so great (Chopping Mall, 1986), is returning to the horror game with You're Next, which started principal photography in Missouri this week. It's not yet clear what part she'll be playing in the film, directed by Adam Wingard, but production company Snoot Entertainment promises "a fresh spin" on the typically brutal and intense home invasion subgenre (think Funny Games or High Tension):

"In 'You're Next' the Davison family comes under attack from a terrifying group of sadistic murderers during a family reunion getaway. Barricaded in their secluded vacation home, they fight off a barrage of axes, crossbows and machetes from both inside and outside the house. However, the masked killers didn't count on Erin (Vinson), the young girlfriend of the eldest Davison son whose mysterious past has made her very difficult to kill."

Barbara has been working mostly in soap operas for the past decade, so fright fans who have been missing her lovely face (and awesome anatomy)- like Mr. Skin- are looking forward to her return to scream queen form. But will she bare those fabulous funbags, now aged to perfection like a fine wine? It would be downright sadistic not to!

Jenny Agutter, the Aussie eyeful whose awesome chasse first stunned viewers in the 1971 skinstant classic from Down Under, Walkabout, did her last career nude scene ten years later as a naughty nurse in An American Werewolf in London.

But, as part of the Skin Lab's ongoing project to reevaluate every movie in the history of cinema in HD in search of undiscovered skin, we can now add a final chapter.

It turns out that star David Naughton's not the only one sprouting fur in this movie. In this screen capture, you can clearly see a few loose hairs poking out of the top of Jenny's panties. Somebody let the monkey out of its cage!
