The Big O: Angels in Lingerie? Sounds Like Heaven to Me!

For years now I've been setting up a recording for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show (only missing 2004, when the Angels went on tour instead of having a show), which in my opinion is the sexiest show on National TV, even if it's only once a year.

I started taping these (realizing as I say it- just like Mr. Skin) the second year it was on NBC in 2002- I'm not even going to try and explain the chaos that was watching me attempt to find a video tape and work the VCR to record it as I stumbled across it one night in a drunken stupor. Once I was actually prepared I watched in awe as I witnessed an amazing sight and i didn't even have cable.

The next day I took with me the spoils of my VCR, share it with my guys at the exchange and play them the glory that I had already watched four times the night before. My boss was pissed for about 15 seconds before he realized what he was complaining about. Needless to say it never left the floor (except on weekends) and was completely worn out within 6 months.

If you have never seen it, you need to DVR or Tivo it, or just cancel whatever you have planned. Everyone loves nudity, God knows I do, but there's something very alluring about a woman in just enough clothes to cover herself. It's hot! In heels, looking fine as hell- it's that much more of a turn on being so close to seeing it all and having it be just out of reach.

The show itself is aesthetically pleasing to say the least, but they pack the stage with performers the likes of Mary J., Sting, JT and the Spice Girls but this year it's going to be the liquid sex that is Usher. They put stunning models in these incredible wings and send them down the runway in not much more than a thong. The wings weigh about as much the models themselves, I don't know how they do it.

While the models have changed over the years, my favorite is Gisele even though she's already retired as an Angel, but Adriana comes in a close second followed by Heidi. These lucky girls have been amongst the few to adorn the 6 Million Dollar Bra encrusted with thousands of carats of diamonds. As if any of us needed to be in more awe of their décolletage, now we have blindingly beautiful rocks to contend with as well.

There's even life after the Angels retire their wings who snag a new career out of it like Rebecca Romijn, Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum who have all landed themselves on TV, and with speaking parts! I kid, they're creative chicks who really use their ahem, assets, to their advantage. It's nice to know that after a decade on the catwalk you can still be hot enough to get your own TV show.

Some of the models are known primarily for being an Angel like Helena Christensen, Alessandra Ambrosio and Karolina Kurkova (who was just named the world's sexiest woman of the year), which helped launch they're careers into the high fashion world. Now they're doing work for designer lines skinternationally. How great must it be to just be gorgeous for a living? And get paid rediculous amounts of money to hang out in sexy underwear?

All seasoned angels aside there's been some hot new ass on the runway that you really must watch for by the names of Selita Banks, Doutzen Kroes, Miranda Kerr and Marisa Miller. Talk about femme fatal- these young minxes are the future of the industry, and will soon be the inspiration of young mademoiselles everywhere (including myself).

I'm feeling a bit lascivious after writing this, as if I wasn't excited enough as it was to begin with. I can't help it though, these women are astonishingly bewitching, so much so that I'm going home to have a little lingerie party of my own and watch the show in the sexiest thing I can find. I do hope that you guys watch it, I promise- you will thank me.
