The Big O: The Girls I grew up watching

Did you ever wonder what ever happened to Winnie Cooper? She was a hottie back in her Wonder Years, but since the show ended Danica McKellar continued to reign as the princess of television appearing in a over 30 TV shows! She's never slipped so much as a nip, but if you want to get a good idea take a look at Sex and the Teenage Mind and her persistent perfection in Stuff Magaizine. If you need a math tutor, she's your girl. Let the fantasy live on...

Without even having seen My So-Called Life I can tell you it sucked. There’s something about Claire Danes crying that makes me want to slap her across that quivering chin and lemon juice pout of hers. I remember seeing her in Romeo + Juliet and really liking her, until I saw her cry- although it's painful to watch her other movies now because of it. If her sad face doesn't bother you as much you can see her itty bitty titties in Stage Beauty and her buns Shopgirl.

Party of Five was pretty popular from what I (over)heard. Mostly because of Jennifer Love Hugetits, who was quite developed on the show and I’m sure made thousands of young girls everywhere want to be her. Well, they wanted her chest anyway. I mean, she was in movies like Can’t Hardly Wait and I Know What You Did Last Summer- do you really think it’s because of her acting skills?

Neve Campbell doesn’t really do anything for me either, unless of course we’re talking about her and Denise Richards in Wild Things. She’s always so tormented in her roles, like in the Scream movies where she’s constantly being chased or The Craft when she’s a burn victim who can’t fit in in high school. Luckily her career didn’t go south completely before she had a chance to redeem herself in 54 and Reefer Madness.

But enough about the shows on FOX that I couldn’t watch- how about those fine WB programs... First there was 7th Heaven, which had a VERY young Jessica Biel playing the eldest sister to Beverly Mitchell.

Miss Biel has been pretty busy since she stopped appearing on the show; she pulled the “Off to College” card and was in a couple decent movies as well as appearing on the cover of a quite a few magazines, some she was proud of, and some she regrets. Either way she ended up with Justin Timberlake who was recently her date to Beverly Mitchell's wedding. Be sure to check out Jessica and her ass crack in I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and if you haven’t already- her very hot spread in GQ.

Beverly Mitchell is a wholesome girl on and off camera, her character on 7th Heaven actually follows in her Fathers footsteps as a reverend (blech). The whole show is too borderline Brady Bunch for my taste, but as immersed as she still is after more than 10 years there's a glimmer of hope that she may expand her horizon after being in movies like Mean People Suck and Saw II.

Then there was Dawson's Creek. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that the cast could be anyone other than their characters on the show. Anytime I thought I had it bad I could always turn on the boob tube and feel better by comparison with stars the likes of Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams, Meredith Monroe and Busy Philipps. Even with the main characters taking up the majority of screen time, they still had many special guests on such as; Brittany Daniel, Ali Larter and Monica Keena.

Who knew little Joey Potter would grow up to be a film and Broadway star? She wasted no time once her acting career started with her first film appearance in The Ice Storm. But while she was just getting started with DC she was sexing it up in movies like Disturbing Behavior and The Gift. While not all of her movies are great, there's much time for improvement and she's already working on her connections. I’m pretty sure if you asked Katie when she was 19 where she thought she would be in ten years, her answer wouldn’t have been “Married to Tom Cruise”.

Michelle Williams was the bad ass on the creek that was always drinking, doing drugs, and having sex- so it just figures that her first nude scene would be a lezzie one in If These Walls Could Talk 2. Since then she's been nude in 5 other movies, including some pretty revealing scenes from Brokeback Mountain when she played opposite her baby daddy, the late Heath Ledger. While the death of her former lover was tragic, she has been keeping herself busy with projects such as Incendiary and Synecdoche, New York (both of which she gets naked in).

Oh ladies, thanks for all the great mamories. For teaching my generation what it's like to be a teenager and what (not) to do. I can only hope that Miley can follow in your footsteps and mold the future generations how to treat nerds in school and what to do if your friend gets alcohol poisoning at a party. Ahh to be in High school again... (Just kidding)
