I'm not from the Midwest--I'm from the Northeast, but this is a pretty impressive list nonetheless. I really only like five on here, but that's enough to satisfy my motor. I don't agree with the number one choice though--I don't think Madonna should be at the top. Oh don't get me wrong, she deserves to be on the list, just not at number one. Maybe Christie Brinkley or Sherilyn Fenn should've taken that spot easily.

@Christopher Kowalsky Sr.:

My vote is for Selma Blair. Detroit is a hell-hole though.
KopyguardKevin @ 12:14PM on August 31, 2009

@Count Rackula:

You aren't kidding, Count. I'm about 30 miles north of Detroit. I only go down there for Tigers or Red Wings games. Get in, take care of business, and then get the F out!

@KopyguardKevin:

Red Wings? Oh, well, at least you're not a Penguins fan. Mario Lemieux is the wuss that saved Pittsburgh, but probably shouldn't have and certainly didn't want to when his name was called at the draft.

Sorry, what were we talking about? I was thinking about Kristen Bell and all of the sudden BAM, I got into Hockey mode.

@Dave:

WTF Detroit Penguins? Sexy celebrities from DETROIT! Not Pittsburgh.
Christopher Kowalsky Sr. @ 9:22PM on August 31, 2009

@Count Rackula:

Philadelphia is a hell-hole too, but at least there's always something exciting going on here--I don't know about Detroit though--and you're never more than a hop, skip and a jump away from visiting some great hot spots in and around Philly. The night scenes are fun too, what with the bars, clubs, strip joints, etc.

@Christopher Kowalsky Sr.:

Detroit is a dying city. But I wonder why there's no "8 Mile" joke here?
Christopher Kowalsky Sr. @ 12:23AM on September 2, 2009

@Count Rackula:

Maybe because nobody cares about "8 Mile." I didn't even know that movie was set in Detroit. Was it filmed there too?

@Christopher Kowalsky Sr.:

Good ones this time. The only never-heard to me is the Dawber one. And I too would change Madonna from number one, and numbers 2-6 ahead of her.
Christopher Kowalsky Sr. @ 7:48PM on September 2, 2009

@jarze:

Two to six is good, but Selma Blair would have to be dropped completely--move down Elizabeth Berkley and Christie Brinkley and move Madonna out of the number one position. Judy Greer and Pam Dawber should be dropped entirely too.
This is a dominating list by the city of Detroit. Suck it, Cleveland!

The Motor City looks like a good place to motorboat.
Madonna over Kristen Bell & Sherilyn Fenn? Surely you jest.

@twman09:

I'm not jesting. And stop calling me Shirley.
Christopher Kowalsky Sr. @ 9:23PM on August 31, 2009

@twman09:

That's what I said. I wondered too how anybody can pick Madonna over Sherilyn Fenn and Kristen Bell, even Christie Brinkley for that matter.
Maybe if this list was done ten years ago I'd say Madonna at number one, but that was then and this now.
Count Rackula (Skinployee) @ 10:27AM on September 1, 2009

@K Wynd:

Is it? Was it?
Christopher Kowalsky Sr. @ 12:22AM on September 2, 2009

@K Wynd:

No, if the list was done maybe fifteen, twenty years ago, I'd say Madonna should be number one, but not at the top if we're talking of her in the 21st century or even from the late 1990s. You have to go way back to the '80s or early '90s to find her extreme hotness.

@Christopher Kowalsky Sr.:

Kristen Bell would not be my choice if this list was made 15 years ago.
Christopher Kowalsky Sr. @ 7:41PM on September 2, 2009

@jarze:

Well, Kristen Bell didn't start acting until '98, so it would've been rather impossible for her to make the list if it was done fifteen years ago.
this is the best news about Detroit since ....ever.
