Employee of the Month (2006)

Was there anyone who embodied an era of sexiness more than Jessica Simpson in the mid-2000s?  It goes like Farrah Fawcett in the 1970s, Madonna or Phoebe Cates in the 1980s, Cindy Crawford or Jennifer Aniston in the 1990s, then Jessica Simpson came along and the romantic comedy genre collectively lost it's mind trying to cast her in everything.  So pair her with Dane Cook in a Rom-Com and you have a box office work horse in the making for 2006!  This flick follows slacker Zack (Dane Cook), who after a failed career in the business world decided to move back in with his Grandma and take the easiest job he could think of, becoming a "box boy" at the local Super Club store.  He is the most popular guy in the store, helping out customers with skill, keeping moral of other employees up by having hidden parties with them in the stacks, and acts as the good guy in comparison to Head Cashier and total asshole, Vince (Dax Sheperd), who lords over everyone with superiority.  Then one day Amy (Jessica Simpson) comes walking through the front door with her perfect body and becomes the object of desire and contest between Vince and Zack, who heard she used to date the Employee of the Month at the last store she worked.  So these two go into a competitive spiral trying to win the affection of their new co-worker and win the coveted title.  Along the way, we get to se prime time Jessica Simpson showing cleavage or pokies in just about every other scene, so dip back into this classic and remember the heyday of this hottie!
