The brunette beauty is about to play the tragic black-haired Brit with a powerful voice in a biopic that seeks to bring some real humanity to the Amy Winehouse story. The film is tentatively titled Back to Black, which is named after one of Amy's hit singles. It hasn't officially gone into production, but the word has been out for a while now!
Marisa was not cast to play Amy because of any kind of physical resemblance. According to rumors, Marisa's voice is what really nailed this gig! Marisa can sing a lot like Amy and I cannot wait to hear her pipes...as she makes us all think about laying pipe if you know what I mean (of course you do).
Marisa is best known for playing Yazmin Yasdani in Industry in which she has gone topless six times. That's a lot of times for a show that has only had two seasons! Amy did wear some skimpy costumes on and off stage, often just wearing a bra or bikini top with a mini-skirt or short shorts. At the very least we know that Marisa will have to wear costumes like that to pay proper homage to the sweet and soulful singer.
Marisa is also in the Barbie movie, so we have a lot to look forward to from this hot young actress. Is it just me or is EVERYONE in that movie? Hey, I can't complain. That film is going to be fun and filled with hot actresses in skintight costumes. Even if Marisa doesn't go nude in Barbie, I am fairly certain we will see skin in Back to Black.
