Peeping Tom (1960)

Acclaimed British filmmaker Michael Powell split from longtime producing partner Emeric Pressburger to make the scandalous film Peeping Tom (1960). Widely considered to be the first slasher film, Peeping Tom follows Mark Lewis (Carl Boehm), an amateur filmmaker who stalks women with his camera and murders them in hopes of capturing the moment when they realize they're going to die! This obsession drives him to ever further, more dangerous targets as he escalates his behavior and starts getting sloppy! Pamela Green delivers one of the first post-Code nude scenes in this flick, appearing briefly topless in bed as Mark films her!
