The Shout

The Shout (1978)

Great Nudity!

Review

Based on a short story by Robert Graves, the fright flick The Shout (1978) features John Hurt as Anthony Fielding, an electronic music composer who meets a strange character on the street named Crossley (Alan Bates). Despite the fact that Crossley claims to have killed his own children with black magic he learned during his eighteen years in the Australian outback, Fielding invites him over for lunch, and the other man decides to stay permanently, using his magical skills to possess Fielding’s wife (Susannah York) and keep everyone else in fear of the fatal shout-of-death spell he says he learned from an aboriginal witch doctor. If you want something to shout about, check out Susannah’s succulent sacks and silky snatch!
