Blake Edwards’s 10, a true classic of the sex comedy genre and a cultural milestone, finally got an official DVD release on this day in 2004.

Anyone who was alive at the time and not in a coma will remember 10 as the first time the t&a of iconic babe Bo Derek graced the screen. With her braids, and her titular body type, Bo steals the show.


In this, her first nude outing, Bo only reveals her rack and rump. But, as fans know, she was only getting warmed up for her full-frontal appearances in the skinstant classics Ghosts Can’t Do It, Bolero, and Woman of Desire.

Yesterday was a banner day for movie-remake news, as power studio MGM announced that a musical version of the Nicolas Cage teen sex comedy Valley Girl is in the works, and Hyde Park Entertainment secured rights to an update of the classic Blake Edwards comedy 10, which featured Bo Derek's first-ever nude scenes.
