You don't want to sleep on this week's nude releases on DVD and Blu-ray, including Emily Browning's Hall of Fame nude debut in Sleeping Beauty (2011) and the sexplotation double feature of Ryoko Watanabe all tied up as a housewife with an S&M secret in Debauchery (1983) and Hitomi Kozue as the titular woman in True Story of a Woman Condemned: Sex Hell (1975).
Plus, we go back (way back) to the well for two rather unexpected nude Blu-ray releases, The Boy in Blue (1986) and Don Juan DeMarco (1995).

It's been years since the movies were the best place to see nudies, but there were some hopeful signs for skin fans in 2011: namely, the success of the NC-17 sex-addiction drama Shame and the super-nude fairytale Sleeping Beauty. Yet, on the one hand we seem to be entering a renaissance for R-rated dramas (and comedies!) but on the other...CGI boobs.

Emily Browning gives a fearless performance in her nude debut, Sleeping Beauty (2011), but as she tells Movieline, seeing the movie with an audience had her quaking in her boots:
"I was meant to see it for the first time at Cannes. I said to my publicist, 'I can’t do it. I need to see it before them, because I might pass out.' It was the most nerve-wracking experience," Emily said when asked her reaction to seeing Sleeping Beauty.
"So they gave me a copy, and I watched it in bed with a bottle of vodka by myself because I was so nervous. But I was really happy with it, and it’s so rare for me to feel that about a film." But the official premiere was another story:
"Watching it at Cannes was a different experience — with the huge screen, thinking, 'Wow, I’m this giant naked person, and there are thousands of people looking at me'…I was sweating profusely and gripping onto [director] Julia [Leigh]’s hand and kind of shaking a little bit."

We've got some really solid recommendations for movie nudity this weekend, so forget fighting over Xbox 360s at the mall and get thee to a movie theater!
Finally opening stateside this weekend is Sleeping Beauty, the kinky arthouse flick that marks Sucker Punch (2011) star Emily Browning's nude debut. This is no accidental nip slip or 30-second butt shot: Emily gets completely nude, baring boobs, bush and butt in three scenes and her petite little pontoons and supple seat meat in three more.
The plot is total film-student weirdness (based on the novella House of the Sleeping Beauties, Emily plays a college student/hooker who drugs herself into a deep sleep so her elderly clients can fondle her snoozing nude form), but you don't need a PhD in cinema studies to appreciate the nudity- just a pulse.
Also hitting theater screens this weekend is Shame, the first NC-17 movie to get a wide release since 2007's Lust, Caution. The ladies are pumped for star Michael Fassbender's naked Fassdong in this picture (so stay away if you're terminally terrified of tools), but you'll be pumping yourself when you see Drive and Wall Street 2 star Carey Mulligan making her full-frontal debut 20 minutes in.
Fassbender plays a sex addict who plows his way through the young, attractive female population of Manhattan, so look out for additional nudity from Mari-Ange Ramirez, Amy Hargreaves, Charisse Bellante and Nicole Beharie. Plus, DeeDee Luxe and Calamity Chang skingage Fassbender in a FFM three-way so steamy, even New York magazine had to admit in their review:
"[Even though] the sex they're engaging in is self-destructive and soul-destroying...it will admittedly make for terrific screen captures on Mr. Skin."
