Janine to Trade Slam 'Er for Slammer

The Register-Guard reports:

A 40-year-old adult film actress was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court in Eugene to six months in federal prison for tax evasion.

Janine M. James, also known as Janine Lindemulder, has until March 10 to report to prison, assistant U.S. Attorney Chris Cardani said.

James, a Huntington Beach, Calif., resident, pleaded guilty in August to willfully failing to pay nearly $300,000 in outstanding federal taxes on income she earned while working in adult films, Cardani said.

This marks the first time that the statement "What a bust!" could mean something other than Janine's juicy jugs.
