Mr. Skin loves Judd Apatow.

And Mr. Skin’s affection would flow toward Hollywood’s reigning comedy filmmaker regardless of whether or not Apatow returned the compliment by showcasing MrSkin.com at the fifty-nine-minute mark of the blockbuster Knocked Up (although that certainly doesn’t hurt).

Nine years ago today, a former Chicago Mercantile employee and obsessive celebrity nudity fan reinvented himself online as Mr. Skin.

Five minutes after going live, MrSkin.com attracted its very first official membership.
