Bored to Death Will Bore You Stiff

Usually reliable stalwarts of skin Dexter and Entourage were disappointingly flesh free last night, but an HBO nudecomer came out swinging . . . boobs!

It may not have been a home run for skin on cable TV, but topless Jessica Blank hit quite a double with her nude debut on the new HBO comedy series Bored to Death.

The episode also featured the bra-clad boobs of As the World Turns babe Vanessa Ray, who strips down to her underwear to get it on with star Jason Schwartzman.

Once Again, Premium Cable Delivers the Goods

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: HBO and Showtime are the new destinations for skin.

With that bit of doggerel out of the way, let’s get down to brass racks and look at this past Sunday’s skin on TV.

On Showtime’s acclaimed serial killer drama Dexter, blue-eyed brunette beauty Kelly Huddleston, who once played a younger version of Courtney Cox on Dirt, bared her boobs in the bathtub as funnyman John Lithgow slowly choked the life out of her.

Also on Showtime, the sex addiction comedy Californication featured the naked rackport of topless Kristine Blackport, and skinthusiasts should be on the lookout for a scene featuring Eva Amurri on stage in a thong in the near future.

Showtime Remakes Its Classic Girl-Girl Series as a Reality Show

Debuting in 2004, Showtime’s The L Word became a skinstant classic as it tracked the (oftentimes literally) interconnected lives of ladies who love and lust for other ladies in the Sapphic sunshine of Los Angeles.

The L Word made skin stars of Mia Kirshner nude, Katherine Moennig nude, and Leisha Hailey nude, as well as showcasing seasoned sexbombs such as Kristanna Loken, Rosanna Arquette, and Cybill Shepherd going nakedly girl-girl wild.

Now Showtime has announced that it will launch The Real L Word: Los Angeles, which will follow half-a-dozen bona fide female homosexuals living and, more importantly, licking day-by-day in the City of Extremely Sexy Angels.

Mary-Louise Parker Claims She Was "Goaded into" Her Nude Scene on Weeds

Last year, after three long, skinless seasons from suburban pot-dealing mom Mary-Louise Parker on the Showtime hit Weeds, season four brought us excellent nudity from the beauteous brunette as she chatted up her brother-in-law while toplessly soaking in a tub whose bubbles had long since dissipated.

The show returns on June 8th for season five, and while we have heard promising rumors that quirky pop star Alanis Morissette will appear nude, don't get your hopes up that we'll be seeing any more of Parker's perkies. According to The New York Post, Parker told More magazine:

I didn't think I needed to be naked, and I fought with the director about it, and now I'm bitter. I knew it was going to be on the Internet: "Mary-Louise shows off her big nipples." I wish I hadn't done that. I was goaded into it.

A Trio of Trollops Gearing up for Their First Onscreen Nude Scenes?

Today brings us a bevy of beauties going bare, some in the near future, some only a distant, coveted possibility.

First up is heiress and model Lydia Hearst, who can routinely be seen nude on the pages of international fashion magazines, such as the cover of Italian GQ at left. Lydia will soon be making her film debut in The Last International Playboy, and according to Page Six, she's making the breast of it:

The blond heiress has a sex scene with Jason Behr in the opening reel of "The Last International Playboy," which opens June 12. Later, Hearst, who plays a model named Stella, gets topless as she and Behr, as a booze-swilling Manhattan skirt-chaser, strip off their shirts.

Her mom may have been kidnapped by the SLA, but we prefer Lydia showing off her T&A!

Network Gives The Farm an “E-I-E-I-No”

Showtime subscribers who also count themselves fans of shower scenes, prison-yard catfights, and sweaty Sapphic cell-sex are "shiv" out of luck! The network has passed on The Farm, a spinoff of the skin-filled lesbian drama The L Word that would have focused on main character Alice’s (Leisha Hailey) time in a women’s prison.

When The L Word ended on March 8, it left premium cable’s primetime programming schedule with a giant hole in the shape of two interlocking female symbols. Now that hole will remain gaping open.

Adding to the disappointment is the news that The Farm’s pilot featured Famke Janssen, Melissa Leo, and Laurie Metcalf, any of whom could have become a regular rugmuncher.

Billie Piper Gives Us Something to Look Forward to

The new season of skintastic Showtime series Secret Diary of a Call Girl premiered last Sunday. The thought on every viewers mind: "Will we see Billie Piper nude again?"

The sexy blond star of the show has never been shy when it comes to getting naked on camera, but she recently gave birth to her first child, and we wondered if she'd bare her luscious, MILFy, milky new frame.
