Jason Mewes is best known for his character Jay, the charismatic drug dealer who hangs in front of convenience stores with his sidekick Silent Bob (Kevin Smith) in the cult comedies Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Clerks II.

Recently he appeared as tattooed horndog Lester in Zack and Miri Make a Porno, where he nails real porn star Katie Morgan in a coffee shop. Recently, Jason postponed a trip to sample some beaver tails to speak on the phone with MrSkin.com’s own Maximilian Mueller.

Katie Morgan was home schooled by strict conservative Christian parents and got into porn to pay her legal bills when she was busted trying to transport 100 pounds of marijuana into the U.S. After spending 18 months in jail, Katie made more than 200 films, including Young Dumb and Full of Cum 9 (2002), Sophia's All Girl Violation (2006), No Boys No Toys (2006), and Dude Where's My Dildo (2002).

In 2005 she was the subject of the HBO documentary film Katie Morgan: A Porn Star Revealed, and also made a series of specials for the cable network where she gave sex advice in the nude. In 2008 she appeared on Entourage and in the Kevin Smith comedy Zack and Miri Make a Porno.

She recently took time out to talk to C.G. Hilliard about her latest projects.

Porn Stars Go From the Main Vein to Mainstream

Citing examples like Sasha Grey, Jenna Jameson, Traci Lords, Katie Morgan, and the upcoming stage musical based on the life of Linda Lovelace, yesterday’s LA Times declared that “porn stars are the new crossover artists.”

This does not include porn stars Mila, who is an ass artist, or Charlie, who appears in The Pickup Artist.

The widely reported recent death of Deep Throat director Gerard Damiano reminded the world of the time in the early 1970s, when porn chic brought hardcore to millions of viewers who would have never braved a porno theater before.

A few years later, home video would do a much better job of it.

Now that adult actresses like Sasha Grey and Katie Morgan are appearing in the new Steven Soderbergh film The Girlfriend Experience and Zack and Miri Make a Porno, respectively, the topic of porn in the mainstream is hot again.

Udderly Racy Traci Refused Nude Scene

In spite of the promising title, Kevin Smith's newest movie Zack and Miri Make a Porno goes light on the porno. Only XXX star Katie Morgan dared to go naked in the flick, but as it turns out, that's not what was originally in the script.

Former princess of porn Traci Lords, who has a large role is Zack and Miri, recently revealed that her character Bubbles was supposed to have a topless scene, but Traci refused . . . because her milktacular rack was lactating!
