To cast the female lead in Hansel and Gretel, an upcoming "dark action movie" based on the already pretty dark children's story of kidnapping and cannibalism, the producers sought out the hottest babes from all over the world, all of whom had done great nudity.
From France, they looked at Eva Green, who stripped in The Dreamers. From Sweden came Noomi Rapace, who nakedly lezzed out in both The Girl Who Played with Fire and Dasiy Diamond. From Germany there was Diane Kruger, whose T&A made her the perfect Helen of Troy. And from the UK they looked at Gemma Arterton, who finally got the role, maybe because they saw her naked partertons in The Disappearance of Alice Creed.
Based on the way they've been casting this movie Mr. Skin can only assume that the people behind Hansel and Gretel are looking to make some kind of skin-filled fantasy along the lines of Cinderella with blond B-movie babe Cheryl "Rainbeaux" Smith or Fairy Tales with naked scream queen Linnea Quigley.
But if that's the case, why not cast Eva, Noomi, and Diane as the three little pigs? Then Gemma can huff and puff and blow their clothes off.
Can you Hansel that?
The new Jason Stratham shoot-em-up action flick The Mechanic isn't due out in theaters until the end of the month, but the red band trailer is available on the Internet and it's already giving skin fans something to look forward to.
One of the costars of the film, Swedish supermodel-turned-actress Mini Anden, has a T&A-baring sex scene with Stratham that is featured prominently in the trailer as a counterpoint to the threatening dialogue, exploding heads, and car crashes.
A minute and 27 seconds into the trailer, we see one brown-nipped b-cup boob in a series of shots of a woman who looks like Mini banging Stratham and we get a look at her naked butt as she rides him cowgirl-style two minutes and 15 seconds in.
Be warned that there are no scenes where her face and a naked body part are on the screen at the same time, so this may well be a body double standing in for Ms. Anden, who has yet to do a nude scene. Stay tuned to find out whether or not those are Mini's mini-mams in The Mechanic. But either way, bring your tool(s).
It's another sadly light week for nudity in new DVD releases. What about that holiday spirit, movie studios? It's about sharing. It's about giving. It's about a festive season filled with cinematic boobs and ho-ho-heinies! Stocking overflowing with Blu-Ray bush! But in spite of this week's chastity, there are a few releases worth a look.
Life in Flight
The delicious Amy Smart has become the master of the sexy slip. Her lip slip in Crank 2: High Voltage stole the show--even upstaging the electrical tape over her all-natural jugglets. In Life in Flight (2008), Amy is uncharacteristically brunette, and although she doesn't slip lip to show the disparity in hair colors, she does let her sweet pink nip pop out just one minute into the movie. Now that's Smart.
Knight and Day
Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise's action romp Knight and Day was a flop at the box office. Maybe because there wasn't any real "action"... nudity! Cameron and Tom previously teamed up in 2001's Vanilla Sky, and we saw a bit of Cam's mam when she pulled an Amy Smart and slipped some nip. For more very fast flashes of the far too mysterious Diaz rack, check out Feeling Minnesota (1996) and Gangs of New York (2002). There's just something about Cameron.
Vampires Suck
Director Jason Friedberg is known for his satirical send-ups like Epic Movie (2007) and Meet the Spartans (2008). While the former had awesome nudity from Audra Lynn and Heather Storm, and the latter featured Carmen Electra, Vampires Suck is sadly skin-free. But that doesn't mean you can't ogle sexy scenes with costars Jenn Proske and Vampire Diaries babe Arielle Kebbel. Sink your teeth into that.
If your family enjoys a tradition of taking in a new movie after Thanksgiving dinner, how about suggesting one of the new, sexy flicks out this week? On second thought, all the sex and jugs in Love and Other Drugs might give Granny a heart attack, so here are the flicks you'll want to take in on your own.
Love and Other Drugs
The much-skinticipated Anne Hathaway vehicle Love and Other Drugs opened Wednesday and is the perv-fect sweet dessert after a heavy turkey dinner. The always-charming Anne serves up a heaping platter of T&A in SIX different scenes, making this her hottest offering since Havoc. Now that's a delicious ass-erole.
Burlesque
Big-boobed belter Christina Aguilera joins ageless hottie Cher for Burlesque, the musical tale of a small town girl who storms the big city stage. And she does it in very little clothing. There isn't any real nudity here, but Xtina, Cher, and cute costar Kristen Bell shake it in teeny little costumes. It's as jiggly as your Aunt Fran's jello salad.
Faster
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson stars in the action flick Faster; unfortunately, there's no nudity to turn your Johnson into The Rock. But fetching femme Carla Gugino costars, and if this steaming hot brunette whets your appetite, you can dig into Carla's nude movie leftovers in Sin City, Jaded, and Judas Kiss. Now that should give you a wishbone.
Early buzz suggested that our favorite freckled ex-woman in prison, Lindsay Lohan, would be nude in the new Robert Rodriguez grindhouse send-up, Machete (2010).
The movie doesn't open until Friday, but one of our trust Skin scouts hit an early screening today to get the skinny.
Final skinalysis? There's nudity, but NONE of it is from Lindsay or costar Jessica Alba!
Before you punch a wall in frustration, the good news is that we were able to get a clip the first scene in Machete, which features the screamingly hot, very Eva Mendes-like Mayra Leal showing ass-tounding naked boobs and ass when she stabs Danny Trejo with the titular weapon, then pulls a cell phone out of her (sadly hidden) hair pie.
