You’ve seen Mr. Skin’s Top Ten Nude Scenes of 2012, now EW.com has come out with its own rundown of the best and worst nudity here. On the best side are such overlapping favorites as Olivia Munn in Magic Mike (2012), Helen Hunt in The Sessions (2012), and Kristin Stewart in On the Road (2012).
The worst side, however, is a bit more mystifying.
Game of Thrones is categorized as worst for: “Every other scene features naked prostitutes in the background making out with each other”. Alison Pill’s topless tweet also makes the worst list, as well as Gina Gershon in the freaky country-fried flick Killer Joe (2012). While we agree with some of EW's decisions- since sausage has no place in a skin smorgasbord- complaining about an actress getting naked is downright vexing. Worst Nude Scenes? No Such Thing!

Last week, on online article on the Brit Blog The Independent questioned whether or not audiences were still willing to go to the movies to see naked knockers on the big screen. Based on, among other things, the poor box office showing of Love and Other Drugs, despite Anne Hathaway's much-hyped nude scene, the author concludes that it does not.
Part of the reason, he thinks, is that, "the internet has provided us with free access to many things we previously expected to pay good money for, including pictures of movie stars' breasts."
Mr. Skin's ears are burning!
But even if A-list stars doing grade (T&)A nudity didn't translate to ticket sales for movies like Love and Other Drugs, Chloe, and Eyes Wide Shut (which came out the same year as Mr. Skin was launched), lack of nudity in a flick where audiences expect it is still a sure-fire way to torpedo an opening weekend.
The article gives us a case in point:
Jennifer's Body, a teen sex horror, might seem appealing to horny teenage boys – except that its writer, Diablo Cody, made very clear that it was a more complex work than that: a tale of female friendship and empowerment. The boys stayed away in droves (and so did the girls).
Damn right. Now let's see Anne Hathaway's princess dairies again!
Some starlets are all talk. They'll go on and on about how proud they are of their body and how they won't let society influence their self image, but they'll never actually show off the beautiful form that has them brimming with joy. Luckily Lily Allen is not one of those women. She's English, after all.
Lily recently boasted:
"I honestly don't care anymore. I'll never be teeny tiny like Cheryl Cole or Dannii Minogue, but I've stopped comparing myself.
I'm normal, I'm over beating myself up about it. Yes, I've lost weight, because my body shape has changed as I've got older."
And lucky for us, Lily has documented her changing body shape with plenty of posed and spontaneous topless moments, the most recent being a topless fashion spread in the Russian edition of Harper's Bazaar.

More Muse, More Boob
The great thing about magazine pictorials featuring celebrity nudity is that the naked flesh isn't only found in the pics that make it to the mag. There are usually dozens of shots that don't make the cut, often including even more nudity. Such is the case with the outtakes from Lindsay Lohan's recent spread in Muse magazine.
These new pics feature more of Lindsay Lohan smoking in a doorway, with flashes of nip visible beneath her fishnet body stocking. Add this to the magazine's arty companion video, Lindsay's Private Party, and you've got a great composite of Lindsay Lohan nude.

The Hangover 2 to Feature Heather Graham Knocked up on the Pole?
The raunchy blockbuster comedy The Hangover hit DVD and Blu-ray this week, giving us a good look at Heather Graham nude when she busted out her right breast. But what was lacking in the movie was footage of Heather's Vegas stripper character actually peeling on the pole.
Luckily, if Heather gets her way, the sequel, which is currently in development, will remedy that oversight and Graham will get her knockers out on stage—while knocked up!

We love it when actresses go on record talking about their nude scenes, whether it's Eva Amurri discussing her mom's advice to strip off for Californication or Helen Mirren admitting that movie nudity is liberating.
