Kate Winslet Nixes Merkin for Her Own Bush

Several gossip sites have reported today that the super sexy Kate Winslet utilized a merkin to cover up her dark blond pussy hair for her nude scenes in The Reader.

We thought this sounded like not-so-bald-erdash, so we took to the Skin Labs to analyze Kate's cute muff in the flick.

It looked as real as real can be, so we did a little private dick work and found the source of the quote--Allure magazine--and noticed that when the gossips reprinted it, they left the last two imperative sentences off the end!

Let me tell you, The Reader was not glamorous for me in terms of body-hair maintenence. I had to grow it in, because you can't have a landing strip in 1950, you know? And then because of years of waxing, as all of us girls know, it doesn't come back quite the way it used to. They even made me a merkin because they were so concerned that I might not be able to grow enough. I said, 'Guys, I am going to have to draw the line at a pubic wig. but you can shoot my own snatch up close and personal.'
