Yeah, I was speaking about hypocrites and people who realize later that it pays the bills. Also there are men and women who have gone beyond the need to win an OSCAR and they still do nude scenes (Charlize Theron in "The Burning Plain" (2008) well after her OSCAR and deserved price hike, springs to mind) as well as actors/actresses whose name alone draws in the crowds (AH-NOLD in T3, disturbingly springs to mind as well as Hugh Jackman in "Wolverine" (2009)) I'd much prefer to hear the standard "If I find a script that I think warrants it" B.S. than a hardline "no! no! no! no! no...I'm hungry, lets get this over with!" for that reason alone have more respect for Malin Ackerman and Carla Gugino than Halle Berry and as great as the formers are, I'd obviously put Charlize Theron above all of them!
She doesn't even know the difference between nude scenes and porn?
She should be glad to strip now. She probably reads these comments. Natalie be proud of your body. All of these guys are showing their ugly guy butts. You gals have to even it. When you're 40 or 43. You won't look as great as you look now. Even Alyssa Milano is covering up and Alyssa still looks great. I am sick of guy butts. Meryl Streep has a nice butt, she showed her butt in some Rory Scheider movie Still Of The Night, no Body Double. I mean gals have nothing to be ashamed of. Take it off and make sure these producers pay you for it too.

I CAN'T say it enough, GOD BLESS DVD's, DVD players, pause, zoom and slow-mo buttons! Natalie has ALREADY shown a good 2/3 of her body, just like Halle Berry had (HB may have shown EVEN MORE too) and suddenly became a total hypocrite. Personally I can't stand Streep (save for "Doubt") and Berry's "talent" is still a mystery to me. I own the DVD and have never even bothered to watch "The Darjeeling Limited" since I don't need too to see "Hotel Chevalliar"!

I'm not a 'pedestal' kind of guy who will never watch her again but in this day and age people EVERYWHERE, famous or not needs to think and proofread their thoughts before they say or type them, 'cuz then its there FOREVER. Its not even that hard to find your own hypocritical statements, OTHER PEOPLE WILL FIND THEM FOR YOU AND POST THEM HERE!

@patdog122482@yahoo.com:

Halle Berry HAS shown more skin than Natalie Portman -- WAY more, in fact. Portman has only shown her butt in two films, one of which briefly showed a breast and she slipped a nip in another movie. Berry has shown her butt in three films and also her breasts in three films.

Thank God! As always, we have Mr. Christopher Kowalsky Sr. here to set the record straight. What on earth would we possibly do without his vast Cliff Cavenesque insight and shameless windbaggery?

Do I sense just a bit of flattery here on my behalf? Tell me though, what has kept you quiet for so long? With words like that, I expected you to be the kind who sits in the background and provides comic relief for all of us. We could sure use your wit on here. Being jealous of my knowledge and wisdom of movies and female nudity won't get you no where my friend, so save it, because I've heard it all before from others.
ReleaseTheseFeces @ 8:40AM on January 10, 2010

@Christopher Kowalsky Sr.:

Flattery comes in all forms, but this wasn't intended to be one of them. I sincerely apologize if I came across as being "jealous" in any sense of the word. I'm truly sorry that you were unable to comprehend the meaning and context of my reply. If you feel the outright need and burning desire to reply to this post (as you have to countless others), then by all means do so. Rest assured, there is no nameless entity or "keeper of the internet" that will prevent you from doing so. I have the deepest confidence however, that this correspondance will penetrate. There will undoubtedly be countless others who will exist snickering in the background, simply waiting for you to stroke those keys again...spilling forth useless diatribes that have no earthly purpose in this blog. You will not hear from me again. My opinion has been noted, which speaks volumes. Unfortunately, everyone who frequents this blog will continue to hear from you.

Yep, I guess there's no getting rid of me, is there? That's a damn shame and just when I was feeling all this love for everybody too. Nah, I'm just teasing. That's the least I could do right now. I AM flattered though that several people have taken time out of what I feel are busy schedules just to express their concern and outrage over my many various comments. After all, what would a forum be if people couldn't be allowed to have their say, no matter HOW many times? We would have no need for them, now would we?

I guess you figured that I would reply to your post, didn't you? How did you guess?

Oh, I know all about the "countless others" who hide in the background, sneering and jeering over my online behavior. They're the unseen voices who probably speak for many more just like you. There's no doubt in my mind that their words speak volumes as well. Whenever they or you feel the need to speak out and express your distaste over me and my comments, please feel free to do so. Don't let me keep you from doing it. I have no control over who can say what they want, whenever they want. I also have no uncontrollable urges of keeping people away from this very web site and this blog. You can have your say, they can have their say and I can have my say also.

As far as my "useless diatribes" are concerned, they're not meant to teach you anything or help you to learn more than what you possibly already know. I do it for MYSELF and maybe for those who WANT to hear what I have to say. If not, then that's fine by me. After all is said and done though, you won't find me with a shattered ego.

I think his comment on Halle Berry was that she always swore she would not do nudity. She is a good pal with Oprah, and Oprah preaches about women not getting nude in movies etc., and Halle Berry was totally in that camp.. then boom, she shows us her great rack in Swordfish, and the next thing you know she's getting pounded by Billy-Bob "Luckiest-Man-In-The-World-If-You-Think-Of-Who-All-He's-Had-Sex-With" Thorton, and she gets an Oscar for it.

Basically, a lot of female actresses have a tendency to take these moral stances against doing nudity in films, until they get offered a role that requires nudity that looks like it could be a really big hit or Oscar worthy.. Or in the case of Halle Berry, someone offers you $500k, which is comical, because I am sure with her successful career and the fact that she was also married to a big name baseball player, she didn't need that $500k, it just gave her an excuse. And once she showed us what she had, and heard all the feedback about how amazing she looked, she was a little more willing thereafter.

Natalie Portman will do nudity. She is young and idealistic. At some point, she'll do what Marissa Tomei has done recently. She'll realise that you have only so many years to be smoking hot, and she'll get the desire to have some serious legacy of how hot she was in her prime. Happens to a lot of actresses.
So she'll only play single women without boyfriends?

If she has her way, that's what we could very well see. It's not fair, I tell ya, it just ain't fair.
